OMG I have been looking for this episode when Ron and Freddie kiss. I absolutely loved when they kiss. They also kissed back when she worked for the radio but they just wrote that out.
I know. I am glad you pointed this out. I told someone else that. I watch Different World every night at 10 like it just started. LOL I am glad it is back on TV One.
I realize this was just a T.V. show, and I realize that the writers and some of the fans wanted to see Dwayne and Whitley together but in real life any guy would have been a fool to give up the character Kinu for the character Whitley. I've thought that for years every time I see this episode. It reminds me of when I was in a similar situation in my own life and unfortunately I chose the "Whitley" in my life and it turned out to be the worst mistake I ever made in my entire life.
Cont'd - I made the same choice that Dwayne did in that eand boy was it the mistake of my life. In that episode with the battle between Kinu and Whitley all of Dwaynes friends hated Kinu and the writers seem to write the episode as if Kinu was wrong but in a real life situation she would have had every right to expect not to have the ex girlfriend still around popping up and interfering. Especially not a crazy ex-girlfriend with a terrible redneck accent.
Right, I wouldn't want my man being close with his ex like that. Especially the episode when Whitley was the made. You are right it is just a tv show and in real life that would not work. LOL
